【ブリュッセル2013年2月27日PRN＝共同JBN】欧州風力エネルギー協会（European Wind Energy Association、EWEA)と世界風力エネルギー会議（Global Wind Energy Council、GWEC）は「風力エネルギーの隠された物語」をテーマに全世界的な写真コンペを開催することになった。

その理由は？　風力エネルギーは一つの技術以上のものだからだ。それは想像力を捕らえ、ひらめきを与え、人の心を魅了し、とりこにする。多くの人々に風のエネルギーの物語があり、写真とテキストを使って共有することができる。

応募締め切りは2013年5月5日。最優秀作品には1000ユーロ相当の金券、地域ごとに選ばれる複数の準優秀作品は250ユーロ相当額が与えられる。受賞作品は6月、ブリュッセルの欧州議会場に展示される。また再生エネルギー専門紙「Recharge」とEWEA の機関誌「Wind Direction」にも掲載される（http://www.ewea.org/wd）。

Global Wind Day 2013 Photo Competition

BRUSSELS, Feb. 27, /PRN=KYODO JBN/ --

    The European Wind Energy Association (EWEA) and the Global Wind Energy

Council (GWEC) have launched a global photo competition - 'Discover the stories

behind wind energy'.

    Why? Because wind energy is more than a technology. It captures the

imagination, inspires, fascinates and captivates. Many people have a wind

energy story they can share through a photo and text.

    Deadline for submissions is 5 May 2013. The first prize winner will receive

a 1,000 Euro voucher. Second prizes of 250 Euros will be awarded by region. The

winning photographs will be displayed in the European Parliament in Brussels in

June. They will also be published in the renewable energy newspaper 'Recharge'

and EWEA's magazine 'Wind Directions' [http://www.ewea.org/wd ].
