【バルセロナ2013年2月25日PRN＝共同JBN】モバイル・オペレーター・サービス・ソリューションのグローバルリーダーであるRoamware, Inc.は25日、モバイル・オペレーターおよびMVNO（仮想移動体通信事業者）が自宅電話番号を利用する国際旅行者に対し魅力的なローミング料金を提供する画期的な国際的サブスクライバー・アイデンティティー（加入者識別）・エコシステムであるCloudSIMの発売を発表した。CloudSIMはRoamwareが提供するエコシステムで、世界の特定地域向けIMSI（国際移動電話加入者識別番号）をこれらの地域に旅行する加入者にSIM上でIMSIを提供するクライアント・オペレーターに対して供給するハブ・オペレーターのネットワークに接続される。CloudSIMによって、オペレーターは加入者がローミング中は電話機のスイッチを切るか、暫定SIMカードを購入するか、ローカルWiFiを利用するか、あるいはOTTアプリケーションを活用する加入者を囲い込むことが可能となる。
