【サンノゼ（米カリフォルニア州）2013年1月24日PRN＝共同JBN】低電力WiFiおよびIOT（Internet Of Things）へのWiFi接続のリーダーであるGAINSPAN社（http://www.gainspan.com/）は24日、GS1011MxxS（小型サイズ）モジュールシリーズでTELEC（技術基準適合）を取得したと発表した。TELEC認証により、同社はGS1011MIPS,GS1011MEPSおよびGS1011MEESモジュールは日本市場に展開できることになった。

TELEC認証は、日本の電波法規制に適合していることを証明している。TELECは総務省により管轄される規格である。802.11b GS1011MxxSモジュールは、この市場で最も小さいサイズ（19.4mm x 28.7mm）である。省スペースによりインターネットにつながる物の小型化でコストパーフォーマンスのアップが実現できる。GS1011MIPでは+9dBm、GS1011MPES/MEESでは+18dBmの出力を得られる。

GS1011MxxSは8、16、32ビットマイコンとの接続にはUARTやSPIのインターフェース機能を持つ。これにはWiFi機能やネットワーク機能などのファームウエアが実装されている。

The GS1011MxxS modules are some of the smallest on the market. At just 19.4 mm

x 28.7 mm, the modules provide a significant reduction in footprint and offer

an easy and cost-effective way to integrate Wi-Fi into the exploding number of

products and applications that comprise the "Internet of Things." The

GS1011MIPS provides low power Wi-Fi connectivity with +9dBm of transmit output

The GS1011MxxS line features UART and SPI interfaces for ease of integration

with any 8/16/32-bit microcontroller. The modules are preloaded with serial to

TELEC is designated as a certification authority by the Japanese Ministry of
