【グルノーブル（フランス）2013年1月18日PRN=共同JBN】固体水素貯蔵法の有力デベロッパー兼メーカーであるフランスのMcPhy Energy社は18日、水の電気分解に基づく水素発生装置の先駆企業、イタリアのPIEL社を買収したと発表した。PIEL（イタリア・ピサ近郊のILT Technology Groupの一部門）の買収は、McPhy Energyにとって革新的テクノロジーの展開と利用における一里塚となり、同社は今日ではユニークなペアリングとなる固体水素の製造と貯蔵とを結びつけることができる。
